Youth Programs

Keynotes/School Assemblies

Attitude Is Everything! We all have a purpose on earth. Heather believes a part of that purpose is to throw little torches out to lead people through the dark. She inspires others simply to believe; believe in their ability to achieve greatness, overcome obstacles, exercise personal power, and make a difference in the lives of others. Heather encourages her audience to possess a winning attitude, set goals, and be focused and motivated. She challenges students to be a contributor, not a contaminator. Through personal stories, participants learn that an uplifting attitude can change lives. Don't be average... be extraordinary!

I Matter. My Decisions Matter. Underage drinking and drug use reaches far beyond the user. Heather is passionate about conveying this message. She connects with her audience and "keeps it real" by sharing a personal story about her family member, his choices and drunk driving. Her powerful program is strong and clear—drug use and underage drinking rob people of their potential. Through the use of impairment goggles, Heather engages and involves her audience and allows them to experience her message. She encourages students to possess a winning attitude and to understand that because they matter—their decisions matter.

Heather Schultzgot courage? Young people are taking their own lives because of being bullied. When is enough, enough? When did degrading and humiliating others become normal behavior? Some people believe it's "just how kids are." No, it's just wrong. got courage? challenges students to reach out and speak up. Heather's commitment and passion to the anti-bullying message runs deep in her veins! She believes everyone has the right to feel worthy, loved, and important. A bully-free environment is essential and we must turn to our young people to create it, the answer is in their hands. Young people are powerful and that kind of power will bring change. Through videotaped personal stories and testimonies, participants are given a clear challenge to save others but also the tools necessary to bring change.

Youth Workshops

Heather SchultzLive, Laugh & Lead! Warning: this workshop is only for people who like to laugh, interact, talk, and never sit down! An empty room, music, beach balls and hula-hoops are required... get the idea? Positive leadership skills including forgiveness, risk taking and teamwork are explored and then practiced. Participants leave ready to use the leadership and life skills learned during this workshop.

Who Is Sleeping In Your Bed? Sex. Drugs. School. Parents. Friends. Young people are faced with many decisions and some are life changing. When it comes to sex, waiting may be worth it! Heather inspires students to believe in their ability to make positive choices and achieve greatness while exercising their personal power. The results of informed and wise choices last a lifetime. Heather encourages students to understand the depth of these choices because they matter—their decisions matter.

Heather SchultzIn Front and Not Afraid Public speaking is the number one fear among people. However, feeling comfortable in front of a group is an important skill to possess. Heather believes that ease in front of an audience can help anyone achieve their goals and she wants to teach this to others. Fun and highly interactive, this workshop will leave every participant a better presenter. Highlights include microphone skills, body language, voice inflection, the art of concise communication, eye contact and much more.

Heather SchultzWhere Do You Stand? What you see isn't always what you get! Recognizing that we all have different past experiences that shape who we are, how we think and how we act, leads to better understanding of each other. Participants interact with fun games of illusion and soon realize that their perspective can be very different than the person sitting right next to them. The audience is also presented with scenarios and given the opportunity to share their personal stance, then lead through a group discussion regarding each situation. Tolerance, instead of judgment, is encouraged!

Heather SchultzTeam Building Who said learning team building skills can't be fun? If you want a dynamic workshop full of energy and purpose, then this is it! Participants experience games and activities that they can then use at meetings, conferences, or any time a little fun is required. Skills include teamwork, trust-building, communication, taking a risk and getting outside of your comfort zone.
